Digital composite of watercolor and ink on Moleskine notebook and Strathmore watercolor paper.
27 May 2012.
This sketch is a composite, digitally combined with Awash in Babies. I showed the “plain Jane” version without the whiney babies to a few of my friends and they all agreed that the sketch was incomplete without a monster on the wing, like in Twilight Zone’s “Nightmare at 22,000 Feet.” Naturally, I took their suggestion, but only as far as cutting, pasting and LAUGHING at the result. Traveling with fussy little ones must be a nachtmare, but being seated in a plane near one of them can be excruciating.
